Caitlyn Jenner has famously been a Republican since her former life as Olympic champion Bruce Jenner and husband to Kardashian clan mom, Kris Jenner. Her appearance on “Jimmy Kimmel Live!” Tuesday night leaves no doubt that she still supports small government and President Donald Trump. Jenner told Kimmel that although she doesn’t agree with everything the president is doing, she “grew up in a country where you actually said the Pledge of Allegiance to the flag at school.” Mike Opelka noted on today’s “Pure Opelka” that the audience cheered and applauded.
Jenner said, “I believe in a limited government. I believe in the people of this nation.” Therefore, Trump was her candidate, being the closest representative of limit government running. She also said that the president has done some good since taking office, which Kimmel replied in a somewhat shocked tone, “What?!”
She cited the appointment of Neil Gorsuch to the Supreme Court and said, “I would like to see the United States be the best place in the world to do business.” She also got into a small back and forth with the host about the high corporate tax rate, which Mike observed, led Kimmel to back off and refocus on the Olympics, indicating he was now out of his depth.
