Women’s March leader shames ‘white feminist’ Nancy Pelosi, refuses to back resolution condemning anti-Semitism

Linda Sarsour, the Muslim co-chair of the Women's March, verbally attacked Speaker of the House Nancy Pelosi (D-Calif.) in a Monday night Facebook rant over a proposed House resolution condemning anti-Semitism.

What did she say?

In a lengthy post, the controversial feminist decried Pelosi as a "typical white feminist" doing nothing more than "upholding the patriarchy" by "doing the dirty work of powerful white men."

House Democrats introduced a resolution Monday evening on the heels of Democratic Rep. Ilhan Omar's (Minn.) latest anti-Israel remarks.

The freshman congresswoman stands accused of making continued anti-Semitic and anti-Israel remarks. She also has insisted that Jewish people have a nefarious amount of sway over Congress through the use of money in politics, and has added that Jewish U.S. legislators have a misplaced allegiance to Israel.

Omar has taken heavy fire for her remarks over the last week, which ultimately culminated in Monday night's resolution.

Remarking on the resolution, Sarsour wrote, "This is why we wanted Congresswoman Barbara Lee to be the Speaker of the House and 'progressives' were like 'nah, Pelosi is a leader and omg you should see how she claps. What a clap!'"

"Nancy is a typical white feminist upholding the patriarchy doing the dirty work of powerful white men," she added. "God forbid the men are upset — no worries, Nancy to the rescue to stroke their egos."

What about the Democratic Party leaders?

Sarsour also added that she believes Democratic Party leaders care more about anti-Semitism than they do anti-Muslim sentiments.

"Democrats are playing into the hands of the right," she explained. "Dividing our base and reinforcing their narrative and giving them an easier path towards 2020.

"I reject this," Sarsour added. "I will speak out. I won't be silent. I am not following this. They don't speak for me as a Democrat. No more double standards."
