Rand Paul's annual Festivus airing of grievances targets Ted Cruz, aliens

Long time followers of Senator Rand Paul's twitter feed know that the sometimes offbeat Kentucky Republican makes a big deal out of the fictional holiday Festivus, which was popularized by the telveision Sitcom "Seinfeld." One of the main traditions of Festivus, according to the show, was the annual "airing of grievances," which Senator Paul has elevated to an art form.

Paul also poked fun at Senator Ted Cruz (R-Texas), who got in a highly publicized Twitter spat with Star Wars star Mark Hamill:

And of course, no Twitter airing of grievances would be complete without a friendly joke about President Donald Trump:

Last year, Paul celebrated Festivus with an election-themed airing of grievances against his fellow Republican presidential candidates.
