Liberal director mocked for saying only love can defeat ISIS

The director of the anti-fracking documentary "Gasland" was mocked relentlessly on social media for saying that only "love" could defeat ISIS, not the "Mother of All Bombs" that the military deployed to much applause on the terrorist group.

"Atrocity. Murder. Abomination," Josh Fox posted. "When will we learn that only love stops hate, and bombings only create more ISIS?" He added the hashtags for "MOAB" and "Stop Trump."

"You wanna stop ISIS? So do I. So Stop helping them!" he added. "We bombed them in Afghanistan-that helps them recruit, we armed them in Syria-remember?"

"No. I'm trying to make us better," He continued. "Our democracy stops being so great when we sink to the level of ISIS. Unjustifiable mass murder."

He appeared to be reacting to the enormous bomb that was dropped on an ISIS base in Afghanistan. It reportedly killed 36 ISIS militants while causing no apparently civilian casualties. Josh Fox called this "unjustifiable mass murder," and equated it to the brutal terror that ISIS imposes among innocents.

While he received hundreds of retweets in support of his message, he also got a lot of ridicule from those who mocked his prescription for defeating ISIS.

Fox was not deterred - he issued a challenge to some of his detractors to debate him on the issue:

Aside from Fox, even many Trump detractors praised the president for the MOAB attack on ISIS that came on the heels of the retaliation in Syria for the chemical bombs dropped on civilians. The Trump administration has indicated that the strike was limited, and did not change their foreign policy position in regards to President Bashar al-Assad in Syria.

The "Mother of all Bombs" dropped on ISIS was 30 feet long, weighed 21,600 pounds and hit the terror group with 18,000 pounds of explosives.
